SellerTally is operated by Seller Tally LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("SellerTally," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. It covers sellertally.com and app.sellertally.com. SellerTally is offered to businesses that sell on Amazon's US marketplace, wherever they are located. SellerTally is not available to anyone located in, or organized under the laws of, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine, or to anyone on a US sanctions list.

1. What we collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, company details, and anything you add in your profile or settings.
Business data: the data you enter or upload (transactions, items, costs, documents such as invoices, receipts and statements), and the data we retrieve from accounts you connect, such as your Amazon seller account (orders, refunds, fees, settlements and related financial events).
Connected-account credentials: when you connect an account such as Amazon, we receive an access token from that provider. We store it encrypted and use it only to retrieve your data. We never receive or store your Amazon password. You can disconnect at any time.
Full Service questionnaire: if you apply for or use Full Service, your answers about your business (for example number of bank and card accounts, sales channels, volumes), kept with a timestamp each time you update them.
Payment information: Stripe processes payments. We receive billing details such as plan, subscription status and invoice history, never your full card number or security code.
Users you add: email addresses of people you invite to your account, such as an accountant.
Support correspondence: your messages and any attachments.
Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device information, sign-in events and activity logs, used to secure your account and investigate problems.
Usage data: which pages and screens are used, inside the app and on our website (section 6).

2. How we use it

To provide the Service (including retrieving and posting your connected-account data and producing your books and reports); to perform Full Service bookkeeping if you subscribe to it; to bill you; to secure the Service; to answer support; to improve the product using aggregated usage; and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Our providers may use your data only to provide their service to us, under their data-processing terms.

If you are in the UK or EEA, our legal bases are: contract (account, business and billing data), legitimate interests (security and aggregated usage), consent (non-essential cookies, section 6), and legal obligation (billing and tax records).

We may also disclose data where the law requires, to protect our rights or our customers' safety, or to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets that agrees to this policy.

4. How long we keep it

After your account is closed or your subscription ends, we keep your data for 90 days so you can return, then delete it, including your books and connected-account data. After that we keep only the billing records we are legally required to keep (invoices and payments for your SellerTally subscription) for seven years; we do not keep your business or accounting data. Security and activity logs are deleted 12 months after they are created.

5. Your rights

You can download your transactions from the transaction screens at any time. To correct or delete your personal data or close your account, email support@sellertally.com; we verify your identity and respond within 30 days.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and you will not be treated differently for exercising your rights.

6. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies and browser storage keep you signed in and secure; they need no consent. We measure page visits on our website and screen usage in the app with a first-party tracker that records the page, the referring page, a random visitor ID kept in your browser, your IP address (used only on our own servers to estimate country, region and city) and your browser type.

7. Security and staff access

Data is encrypted in transit and on our providers' storage. Sensitive credentials, such as connected-account tokens, are additionally encrypted by SellerTally. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to run the Service. Our support staff may open your account to resolve a support request. On Full Service plans, a SellerTally accountant (our staff or a contracted accountant bound by written confidentiality obligations) has access to your books, uploaded documents and connected-account data to keep your bookkeeping. Our staff and contractors may access your data from outside the United States. Every access is logged.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

9. International users

We are a US company and process data in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed in the US.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are announced by email or in the app before they take effect.
