Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information you provide (name, email, phone), the Amazon seller data you authorise us to import (orders, refunds, fees, settlements), and the cost/inventory data you enter. We also collect basic usage analytics (see §5).

2. How we use it

To provide the Service: importing and posting your Amazon data to your ledger, generating statements, and processing payments. We don't sell your data or use it to train third-party models.

3. Subprocessors

We share data with the following subprocessors, each for a specific purpose:

• Neon — database hosting for your accounting data.
• MonsterASP — application hosting.
• Firebase (Google) — authentication (login/signup).
• Stripe — payment processing. SellerTally never sees or stores your card details; Stripe handles them directly.

4. Amazon data

We access your Amazon Seller Central data only through Amazon's own authorised API connection, only for the data types needed to build your books, and only for as long as your account is active or as required by law.

5. Analytics

We use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics (Plausible) on this marketing site to understand aggregate traffic. It does not track individuals across sites and doesn't require a cookie banner.

Within the Service itself, we record which screens are used and how long sessions last, so we can see which features are working and where customers get stuck. This usage data is reviewed in aggregate to guide product decisions and is never sold or shared outside SellerTally.

6. Data retention

Your accounting data is yours. If you disconnect SellerTally from Amazon, we stop importing and delete the Amazon connection, but your books stay exactly as they are.

If you close your account, we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back, then permanently delete it — and we will email you before that happens. That 90 days runs from the day the account closes — whether you cancel or a trial expires — so you can reactivate or export everything in the meantime. You can request earlier deletion by contacting us.

7. Your rights

You can export your data at any time from your account, and request deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law; contact us and we will honour applicable requests.

8. Security and support access

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers. Credentials are stored in protected configuration, never in source code. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate the Service.

Authorised SellerTally support staff may access your account data to diagnose and resolve support requests. Every such access is logged — who, which account, and when — and is used only to provide support, never for any other purpose.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
